In Cairo, a 4,500 years old tomb was discovered

A team of Czech archaeologists stumbled upon the tomb of a pharaonic princess, south of Cairo. The building is approximately 4,500 years old.

According to Egyptian authorities, the place where
Princess Shert Nebti was discovered  is surrounded by the graves of four other top officials of the 5th Dynasty, dating from 2500 BC.

The remains were found in Abu Sir complex near the famous step pyramid, Saqqara. The antechamber of the tomb contains four columns of limestone, each with hieroglyphic inscriptions.

An Egyptian official said that it takes more digging and investigations before the tomb will be opened to the public.

Currently, Egypt is trying to revive the tourism industry after the fall it had, after riots for removing leader Hosni Mubarak in 2011.
